Tony Brignull on finding inspiration as a copywriter – 1 Minute to Leave your Mark

Tony Brignull spent most of his career at CDP. With his partner Neil Godfrey he won three D&AD Black Pencils and 17 Yellow Pencils for his work on Parker Pens, Army Officer Recruitment, Birds Eye, Fiat and Clarks. He also worked for DDB and AMV, and ran Brignull Le Bas. On leaving advertising after 35 years, he went to Oxford to read English, then to King’s College London to study Life Writing.
